As homesteaders, we are so tired at meal times it becomes difficult to be creative.  Having a basic menu to plan meals just may be a lifesaver in those moments.  I begin my menu planning with basic categories so I know what I am preparing prior to the day even beginning.  This way I can coordinate all my efforts for a more

Sunday: Pancakes with Maple Syrup and Bacon, Ham or Sausage
Monday: Honeyed Yogurt with Fruit & Granola
Tuesday: Scrambled Eggs with Bacon, Ham or Sausage and Toast
Wednesday: Oatmeal with Dried Fruit and Maple Syrup
Thursday: Scrambled Eggs with Bacon, Ham or Sausage and Toast
Friday: Honeyed Yogurt with Fruit & Granola
Saturday: Bagels, Farmer’s or Goat Cheese & Sprouts & Smoked Fish

Snack
Sunday: Popcorn
Monday: Hard Boiled Eggs
Tuesday: Fruit
Wednesday: Veggies and Dip
Thursday: Roasted Nuts
Friday: Popcorn
Saturday: Cheese and Crackers

Lunch
Sunday: Sandwich
Monday: Salad
Tuesday: Soup
Wednesday: Sandwich
Thursday: Salad
Friday: Soup
Saturday: Sandwich

Dinner
Sunday: Roast
Monday: Pasta, Risotto or Polenta
Tuesday: Stir Fry
Wednesday: Soup & Salad
Thursday: Tacos, Enchiladas or Tamales
Friday: Pizza & Salad
Saturday: Specialty

Dessert
Sunday: Cake
Monday: Cookies
Tuesday: Pudding
Wednesday: Pie
Thursday: Bars
Friday: Fruit
